Counselling

Face to Face - Online – Out in Nature

You may be feeling that you’re not coping as well as you’d like or perhaps you feel drawn to make some changes in your life. One to one counselling could help you with this.

You may be experiencing:

Trauma
Stress
Addiction
Shame & Guilt

Illness
Anxiety
Depression
A Mid-Life Crisis

Loss or Bereavement
Separation or Divorce
Unhelpful Behavioural Patterns
Relationship or Marriage Issues

These are just a few examples. We are all individual and experience a huge range of different situations, life experiences and emotions in many diverse ways.

I believe counselling is a time and space where you are the most important factor. It is a safe space where I support you in a non-judgemental, caring, honest and empathic way so you can explore those aspects of yourself and your life which need to be worked through, understood and re-evaluated.

I work in an integrative and creative way, covering a broad range of theories choosing whatever is right for you at the time. I see the counselling relationship as one in which you are empowered to be open, honest and to evolve and flourish; enabling you to achieve personal growth and understanding. It is very much a process and therefore not a ‘magic wand’. It’s an exploration into valuing yourself and a commitment, which may take weeks, months or even years. It can be challenging, but also very rewarding and life changing.

“For me, entering into counselling was a hugely daunting thing and I was incredibly apprehensive. But I clearly remember leaving after that first session with Judith and actually finding myself smiling: I just knew I had found the right person and the right place.

Judith has the ability to put you at ease however difficult things are. I’ve found her to be so grounded yet wholly involved in our sessions, constantly and fluently thoughtful, empathetic and solidly supportive. Her room is just a safe place that holds you, whilst Judith's great skill, wisdom and professionalism guide you. She has allowed and quietly encouraged me to learn so much about myself and life’s experiences and given me the secure space in which to do so.

I would definitely recommend counselling with Judith. It is life changing and I shall always be so grateful.”
